    My OPPO A54 Won't Charge

    The OPPO A54 (CPH 2239) has a large battery capacity with an 18W flash charge that is safe and quick to use. However, if your phone's charging time is longer than usual, you might need to check the following instructions below for some troubleshooting steps. 


    OPPO A54 (CPH 2239) won't charge

    With its large battery capacity of 5000mAh, the OPPO A54 CPH2239 will support your needs in a smartphone as it is enough to use all day without seeking a charger. However, if it's not working, you may check the troubleshooting below.


    Check the charging port and cable

    • Check the port and see if it's clogged, broken, or loose. If there's any debris coming from it, please remove it carefully. 

    • If your charging port is damaged severely, please stop using it to avoid unexpected faults such as leakage or short circuits and send the phone for repair. 

    • Try to check the connection on your phone's charging port, its adapter, and the cable. If anything's loose, try to reconnect the cords and plug them in firmly.

    • The battery of OPPO A54 is not detachable. Try using another charger that is compatible with it and check if it works.

    Restart and update 

    Before restarting your OPPO A54, unplug all the cables and then proceed with the restart. To restart, press and hold the Power and Volume Up buttons simultaneously for at least 8 seconds or until you see the OPPO logo.

    • To update the system software: Connect your OPPO A54 to the internet to check if there's an update on the software through [Settings] > [Software update].


    Note: *The battery should be charged at a temperature range between 5°C and 35°C to avoid decreased battery performance and standby time. It may not be able to enter the flash charging mode when the temperature is below 15°C or above 35°C.
