ColorOS 12: Easy PC Connect & Seamless Device Switch

We all know the difficulty you're having with working and switching multiple devices like your phone and PC and having to transfer the files from one device to another or switch easily between them. That's why in ColorOS 12, we improved the syncing of your devices to help your productivity prosper with PC connect, which lets you connect your phone to your PC seamlessly. PC Connect on ColorOS 12 

Using PC Connect, users can mirror their phones to their PC and control their phones on the big screen of their PC. 

What are the features of PC Connect

Connect:

You can connect your OPPO phone using Bluetooth or place them close together. 

Screencast:

After you connect your OPPO phone to your PC, a phone clone automatically generates on your PC, which allows you to control or even watch videos from your phone to the big screen of your PC.

Cross-screen file editing:

If you're using multiple devices for work, you can easily open and edit a file from your phone to your PC, and the edited file is saved automatically to your phone! 

File transfer: 

You can just drag and drop a file to transfer. Or quickly share it in a sharing box. 

Data sync:

• Clipboard sync: Copy the text from your phone and paste it on your PC in one click.

• Notification sync: The notifications you receive on your phone will be displayed synchronously on your PC.

• Input method sync: You can reply to a phone message directly on your PC!

• Photo sync: Instantly save and sync the photos or screenshots you took with your phone to your PC. 

How to connect to PC Connect

1. On your PC, go to https://pc.heytap.com to download and install the PC Connect.

2. On your OPPO phone, go to [Settings] > [Connection & Sharing] > [PC Connect] and place your OPPO phone near your PC, or you can scan the QR code on your PC to connect the devices.

PC minimum requirements:

Operating system: Windows 10 64-bit v1903 (18362) or later.

CPU: Intel Core i3 (2.4 GHz) or above.

Memory: 8GB or more.

Bluetooth: The PC needs to support Bluetooth 4.1 or later to enable a short-distance connection. 

Network adapter: See the list below. (Wi-Fi Direct is required; driver version October 2018 or later).
