You can easily link your Gmail and other email accounts, such as Yahoo and Outlook, to your OPPO phone, making it a breeze to access them all in one convenient app. With OPPO mail, you can stay on top of all your messages without missing a beat. Follow these simple steps to set up your OPPO mail and never miss an important email again! Keep reading.
Go to the [Google] folder on your home screen on your OPPO phone, then tap [Gmail]. Select [Add an email address], choose the type of account you want to add, then follow the steps on the screen to add your account. Select your preferred account options and tap on [Take me to Gmail] to enter your inbox. After adding your account, you'll be signed in to Gmail whenever you open the app.
The Gmail app will show you your inbox organized with the most recent emails first. To open an email in the app, all you have to do is tap on it.
Go to [Gmail], then tap / [Compose] at the bottom right of the screen. Type in the addresses of the recipients in the appropriate field(s) - To, Cc or Bcc. Tap the [Subject] line to write the name of the email, then tap the [Compose email] to start writing your email. When you're done, tap
at the upper right of the screen to send your email.
Open the [Gmail] app on your phone, then select the email you want to reply to, then tap [Reply] at the bottom of the email. You also have the option to [Reply all] if you want to send the email to everyone who is in the conversation or [Forward] the email to a different address.
Once logged in to your Gmail account, the app will take you straight to your inbox. If you'd like to go into any of your other labels, tap at the upper left of the screen. This will bring up a list of the labels you already have; you just have to tap the one you want to read to go into it.
To search your email, tap on the [Search mail] at the top of the screen. Type the term you want to look for. Once you've typed in the word, tap on [Search] / or tap on the magnifying glass icon on your keyboard to search.
Email is a communication method that is fast, reliable, cheap, accessible, and easily replicated. Below are the functions and usage of an email.
You can check emails in multiple email accounts simultaneously with your OPPO smartphone.
Go to [Gmail] and tap on your [Profile] in the upper right corner and select [Add another account] to log in to other email accounts.
You can freely switch mailboxes to check emails in different accounts by tapping your [Profile] at the upper right corner and selecting the account you want to check.
Tap on the upper left corner of your screen to enter mailbox settings. You can see some of the Settings of Gmail below.
To change the name or modify personal info: Go to [Gmail] app, then tap the icon at the upper left, then [Settings], and tap your account. Tap [Manage your Google Account] > [Personal info] and under "Basic info", tap [Name].
If your emails are not syncing: Go to [Gmail] app, then tap the icon at the upper left, then [Settings], and tap your account. Under "Data usage", make sure the [Sync Gmail] is checked.
It is recommended to turn on [Download attachements] to ensure the auto-download attachments to recent messages using a Wi-Fi connection. Go to [Gmail] app, then tap the icon at the upper left, then [Settings] and tap your account, and make sure [Download attachments] is checked.
Go to the [Gmail] app on your phone, tap the [Profile] icon at the upper right corner, then tap [Manage accounts on this device] > [Google], then tap the account you want to delete. At the upper right corner, tap [two-dotted] icon > [Remove account].
You can choose to turn these two features on or off to avoid incorrect operations. Just tap the icon at the upper left > [General settings] and under "Actions Confirmations", tap [Confim before deleting] or [Confirm before archiving] or [Confirm before sending].
It is recommended to turn on [Subject merge]. OPPO smartphone will merge all the same subject emails chronologically to make it easier for you to check and follow up on the status.
You can adjust the preview rows according to your usage habit so that to facilitate your reading and understanding. Just tap the icon at the upper left > [General settings] > [Conversation list density] > Choose among [Default], [Comfortable], and [Compact].
You can set a time period during which you don't want to be disturbed by new email notifications with [Do not Disturb] mode. Tap the icon at the upper left, then tap [Settings] and tap your account, then tap [Manage notifications] and toggle [Allow Notification Alerts Under Do Not Disturb] to enable/disable.
You can view all the attachments under the current email account and freely select one to preview or download. You can also find adjust the sort order of (time order by default), and select attachments to delete, forward, and share options at the bottom of the screen.
Note:
If any problem occurs during login, an error message will prompt. In such a case, we recommend manually changing the Email server settings.
