Is it Possible to Recover Data from a Broken OPPO Phone | OPPO Australia

Is your OPPO phone no longer responding or has a black screen and you are unable to view your data? If recovering the data is your priority, we have a list of suggestions below to try to recover your data in your unresponsive OPPO phone.

Note: It is recommended to have a backup plan when initially using your OPPO phone. If you have not backed up your data previously, these suggestions may not be able to recover your data.

Check if you have recovered data from the Backup options

If you have previously backed up your data, let's try checking these options to recover your data from your OPPO phone.

SD Card: If your OPPO phone supports expandable memory, you may have previously inserted an SD card into your phone and saved data onto it. To check this, use the SIM pin to open the SIM tray, and you can find the SD Card here.

• Take the SD card out and place it into a memory card adapter to connect to your PC. Check the files on your PC to see what data was saved.

Google Apps: Your OPPO phone has pre-installed Google apps like Google Photos, Google Contacts, and Google Drive, where you can download your files and share them across various devices when signing into your Google account. 

• To find out if you can recover this data from Google, find another device, like a PC and sign in to your Google account. Search 'Google Photos', 'Google Contacts', or 'Google Drive' and log in to check the data saved. 

Backup on Computer: You may have previously saved your data directly onto your PC. Check your computer files to see if any data has been saved.
