The waterdrop symbol on the OPPO phone's status bar indicates the Data Saving feature is on. When Data Saving mode is enabled, applications cannot use mobile data and will reduce the image resolution of a specific app. To enable the Data Saving feature, continue reading the simple guide we created below.
Note: Available only for ColorOS 7.0 and above devices. Check your ColorOS version in [Settings] > [About Phone] / [About Device].

How to turn on/off Data Saving
For ColorOS 12 to ColorOS 13 and above: Go to [Settings] > [Mobile Network] > [Data usage] > [Data Saving] and toggle [Data saving] to enable, and tap [Turn on] to confirm.
For ColorOS 11 to ColoroS 11.3: Go to [Settings] > [SIM card & mobile data] > [Data usage] > [Data Saving] and toggle [Data saving] to enable, and tap [Turn on] to confirm.
For ColorOS 7: Go to [Settings] > [SIM Card & Mobile Data] > [Data Usage] and under NETWORK SETTINGS, tap [Data Saving] and toggle [Data Saving] to enable, then tap [On] to confirm.
