Changing the lock screen wallpaper is one way to personalize and add a touch of flair to your OPPO phone. However, there may be instances where you cannot change the lock screen wallpaper on your OPPO phone. If this is the case, don't worry! We have easy troubleshooting steps that can help you resolve this issue. Read on to find out what to do if you can't change your lock screen wallpaper.

Unchanging lock screen wallpaper
By default, you can set a custom image as the lock screen wallpaper on your phone. However, if you are using third-party lock screen applications or themes with a lock screen style, you would probably not be able to change the lock screen wallpaper.
Check the version of the Theme Store
Ensure the Theme Store is up to date with the latest version, then repeat the steps to apply a lock screen wallpaper.
Check for network interruptions
An unstable network may interfere with executing the changing of the lock screen wallpaper.
Clear the cache of Theme store
For ColorOS 12 and above: Go to [Settings] > [Apps] > [App management] > [Theme store] > [Storage usage] > [Clear data] > [Clear cache].
For ColorOS 7.0 to ColorOS 11: Go to [Settings] > [App management] > [App list] > [Theme store] > [Storage usage] > and [Clear data] > [Clear cache].
For ColorOS 5.0 to ColorOS 6.1: Go to [Settings] > [App Management] > [Theme store] > [Storage usage] > and [Clear data] > [Clear cache].
For ColorOS 3.1 and ColorOS 3.2: Go to [Settings] > [App Management] > [All] > [Theme store] > [Storage usage] > and [Clear data] > [Clear cache].
For ColorOS 3.0: Go to [Settings] > [Additional Settings] > [Application Management] > [All] > [Theme store] > [Storage usage] > and [Clear data] > [Clear cache].
Choose the lock screen option
Remember to select the lock screen option when applying themes from the Theme Store.
Turn off the Lock Screen Magazine function
Close the lock screen magazine and enable it again. After that, retry to apply the theme.
Go to [Settings] > [Home screen & Lock screen] > [Lock Screen Magazine].
Restart the phone
Press and hold the Power button and Volume Up button for more than 8 seconds or until you see the OPPO logo.
